In the spirit of Thanksgiving we wanted to talk about tables. Food brings people together. It is a known fact that gathering around a table to enjoy a meal brings us great joy. Even kids that want to be out all day with friends will look back and remember the times around a table. Our holidays focus on a meal that is gathered around a table. Jesus sat with his disciples for the Passover at a table. It is a staple in any home and should be a gathering place that is inviting and remarkably comfortable. It should allow you and your guests to relax and enjoy each other’s company. It should create memories that you can hold onto for a lifetime. So, with all of this table talk, we’re sharing some of our favorite dining spaces that would make for a great Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Let’s keep in mind those who don’t have a table. If you know someone in need, try inviting them to your table. Just see what happens. I’ll bet the warmth of a loving home, gathered around a table for a feast of thanks and a time of giving, will change the life of someone in need. We’ll do our part. Can you do yours?
